We are seeking outgoing individuals with a strong customer focus to work in our Customer Resolutions Services department. The Customer Resolution Svcs Agent is responsible for contacting student loan borrowers, endorsers, or co-makers and working with them to bring their student loan accounts current. This is done by educating the borrower on the variety of repayment and deferment options available to them. Working in a call center environment, the individual will take calls through our dialer system so they must be comfortable in a fast paced environment.
All available schedules include day and evening hours as well as two Saturdays per month. Qualified and successful candidates must have the following to be considered: High school education level or GED; college courses or degree are preferred Customer service experience in a fast paced, high volume environment, call center experience preferred (may substitute education for experience) Excellent verbal communication skills Proven ability to navigate Microsoft Windows and related applications Ability to excel in a quick thinking, fast-paced environment Ability to sit in one place for long periods of time Sallie Mae is a federal government contractor.
